Hi guys!

First off, thank you to everyone who stuck by Chrissi Emery Photography even in the months with no updates from me. I've missed this business so incredibly much and it feels amazing to finally be able to take some time and update everyone about whats been going on.

This summer has been a summer of firsts for me. As many of you know I am 20 years old and I just finished getting my art history degree, I got my first car all by myself, and also had the opportunity to get an amazing second job. 

At the beginning of the summer with my new car, I dreamt of being able to drive everywhere with my nikon and take my business to the next level. Well ofcourse life doesnt always listen to your plan and the free time I had was no longer there. I ended up working 12-13 hour days at my two other jobs and by the time I got home, I didnt want to do anything besides sleeping. 

This wasnt a bad thing necessarily, and I learned what it was like to really be on your own and work all day, everyday. This summer was a pretty big milestone in my adulthood and eventually my hard work payed off and I got promoted at my second job. With this promotion, I have a much better set schedrule which gives me a lot more time to get back to the thing I really love. With all these new experiences I got from my new work life, I feel that I can direct my buisness more confidently. I've gotten the chance to really appreciate the things you all do for me, and im ready to start updating my page weekly again.

 I am now taking emails for any inquiries including baby showers, senior portraits, and ofcourse any events you may need from me. I cant thank you all enough for the support I've gotten throughout my absence. Hope you are all happy with the new work! As always, please leave feedback.
